Commission Work

Or 'Work made for clients"

Its not always a portrait, but it usually is.

What works best on a Commission?

Drop me a email.give me a call or message me as an informal, introductory chat where we can discuss any ideas.

Over the following week via Email or phone ,we would develop an ideal end result,

from there we can arrange a sitting if at all possible.

In the next few weeks I’d make a few planning sketches whilst considerer any reference photos.

On receipt of the first third payment as a deposit I would commence work.I then tend to update as and when a significant aspect of the work is reached especially the likeness.

On receipt of the finished work I would expect the second third payment with the remainder due in the following month.

As yet all clients have paid the outstanding on receipt However I offer this additional time payment period as a way of making this experience as enjoyable as possible without the financial burden.

Costs:As every portrait commission is unique, quotations are tailored to fit each individual request. Size, scale, background detail, amount of additional content etc, are all factors which must be taken into account, as such the following costings (and sizes) should be viewed upon as a rough guide only.

(Please note; these prices DO NOT include framing)

12" x 12" start from £950 inc vat.

16" x 16" start from £1500 inc vat
